Hunting New Ride at JMCS 2012

Jakarta, 28 September 2012 – If you plan to buy a new motorcycle, you might want to hold your horses because the Jakarta Motorcycle Show (JMCS) exhibition is coming on end of October and this will be the right place to choose the best ride for you. The biggest two-wheel vehicle exhibition in the country, JMCS will present the latest and the best products from 5 members of the Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association (AISI) namely Honda, TVS, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha. Numerous offerings of promo programs during the exhibition will surely attract visitors to come to the exhibition.

In addition, motorcycle enthusiasts can also find various accessories during the exhibition that is held at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC). Visitors can also enjoy promo programs offered by producers of these accessories with diverse set of items starting from spare parts, oils, helmets, and other two-wheel accessories. There will be more than 30 supporting industries participating in this exhibition, including motorcycle brands outside members of AISI such as DUCATI, KTM, Victory, Husqvarna and Spyder.

Abiyoso Wietono, Automotive Division Manager, Dyandra Promosindo said JMCS is the right place for visitors who want to know about the latest development in the country’s two-wheel industry. “Further, JMCS will be the right time and the right place to buy new motorcycles whether from members of AISI of from non-member as well as to buy the accessories. We hope the organizing of JMCS helps to drive the sales of motorcycles in Indonesia,” said Abiyoso.

Another program that is much awaited in JMCS is the helmets sales. In 2010, the government regulated that motorcycle riders must use helmets that comply with Indonesia National Standard (SNI). As a result, helmets with SNI logo are sought after though the price is relatively higher than regular helmets.

“Besides showcasing the development of the country’s motorcycle industry, through JMCS we want to provide sustainable education to the public about safety driving and one of it is by using SNI helmets for your safety and reduce the risks should you experience an accident. Therefore, we are hoping the helmets sales promo will encourage visitors to buy them and practice safety riding with SNI helmets,” explained Abiyoso.

Other program that might interest visitors of the exhibition is the Test Ride program where visitors can select the motorcycle of his dream and feel firsthand the comfort of riding it, the features offered and other aspects that might be useful in weighing the options before making the decision to buy the product.
